Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward “Eddie” Osefo, have been arrested for fraud.

On Thursday (October 9), the Carroll County Sheriff's Office in Westminster, Maryland said the Osefos were taken into custody, per TMZ. Officials noted that the couple is in the process of being released after their bond was set for $50,000 each.

The RHOP star, who joined the franchise in 2020, is reportedly facing 17 different charges, including seven felonies. According to TMZ, Wendy's charges include false and/or misleading information fraud in excess of $300 and a misdemeanor count of making a false statement to an officer. It's unclear what charges Eddie is facing.

Mugshots of the couple released on Friday (October 10) show them smiling while being booked.

Wendy also serves as a professor of education at Johns Hopkins University and a political commentator for The Hill, MSNBC, and CNN. The reality star's arrest comes after her RHOP castmate Karen Huger was released from jail last month. Huger served six months of a one-year sentence for DUI charges.
