On Wednesday (November 11), we celebrate Veteran's Day. To thank those who have served and are serving our country, many restaurants are offering free meals, as well as a variety of deals for Veterans. Restaurants offering free meals for veterans:
- 54th Street Grill & Bar: On Veterans Day this year, all veterans and active-duty military can dine in at the 54th Street Grill & Bar and receive a freer entrée with proof of service.
- Abuelo’s: On Nov. 11, veterans and active duty military can choose one free entree from Abuelos special Veteran’s Day menu (select locations).
- Applebee’s: Proud to serve those who serve, military veterans and active-duty service members will be able to eat a free meal selected from the Applebee’s Veterans Day Menu at participating Applebee’s across the U.S. on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. Contact your local Applebee’s to learn about any Veterans Day offerings in your neighborhood. Offers may vary based on local mandates and guidelines.
- BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: On Wednesday, Nov. 11, current and former military personnel can enjoy a free entrée and Dr. Pepper beverage when they dine-in at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. Guests must provide a valid military ID or proof of service. Entrée is limited to $14.95.
- Bombshells: If you happen to be in Texas on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and you are a veteran or active military service member, drop by one of the 10 Bombshells Restaurant & Bar locations for a free meal and soft drink. If members of your family join you, they’ll receive 20% off.
- Bowl & Barrel: With three locations in Texas, Bowl & Barrel brings together great food, drink and bowling. On Veterans Day, at their Shops of Park Lane location, they will be giving veterans and active-duty military free Burgers in a Bag with a valid ID. Offer good on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
- Burntwood Tavern: Serving over $45,000 in free meals to veterans since 2016, Burntwood Tavern is honored to serve those who have served with a free meal on Veterans Day
- each year.
- Bob Evans: On Veterans Day, Bob Evans Restaurant is providing a comforting meal to veterans and active-duty military. Enjoy a free special menu on Nov. 11.
- California Pizza Kitchen: Veteran and active-duty guests are invited to California Pizza Kitchen to enjoy a free meal from a pre-selected menu. On Nov. 11, order your meal to go or dine-in and also receive a Bounceback, which is CPK’s way of saying “come back soon.” It’s good for one FREE pizza, pasta or salad with the purchase of a pizza, pasta or salad. The Bounceback is valid from Nov. 12 through Nov. 20. Veteran or active military guests must be in uniform or show military ID or other proof of service.
- Cattlemens: All active, inactive and retired military personnel are invited to enjoy a complimentary 8-ounce sirloin steak dinner at Cattlemens on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
- Chili’s: As a thank you for your service, your Veterans Day meal is on Chili’s. On Veterans Day, and every day, Chili’s is grateful to our veterans and active military members. Again this year, they will be showing their gratitude with a free Veterans Day meal on Nov. 11.
- Cotton Patch Cafe: On Veterans Day, the Cotton Patch Café, with locations all over Texas, as well as New Mexico and Oklahoma, will be offering a free Chicken Fried Steak or Chicken Fried Chicken to all veterans and active-duty military.
- Denny’s: Continuing a long-standing tradition of honoring our service men and women, “Denny’s”/dennys is once again offering a complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast to all active, nonactive and retired military personnel. Offer valid for dine-in from 5 a.m. until noon with valid military ID.
- Dickey’s: Veterans can stop by Dickey’s for a free Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich (must present a military ID or valid proof of service) on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
- Famous Dave’s BBQ: Thanking veterans with a meal, all day on Nov. 11, 2020, Famous Dave’s BBQ is offering one free Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich plus One Side to all military personnel for either dine-in, to-go or ordering online.
- Farmer Boys: With 90 locations throughout California and Nevada, Farmer Boys, the farm-fresh, fast-casual restaurant, will be showing appreciation to their local veterans by giving all who present an ID one free Big Cheeseburger. The promotion is valid in the drive-thru, carryout and via orders placed by phone at participating locations.
- Friendly’s: On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Friendly’s will again be honoring this country’s veterans and active service members by offering a free All-American meal for lunch or dinner, which consists of the All-American Burger, served with a side of fries and a drink. This dine-in only offer is available to all veterans and current service members with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card, at participating locations.
- Golden Corral: On Wednesday, Nov.11, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Golden Corral will be giving out Veterans Day free meals and a beverage to any person who has ever served in the U.S. military or is on current active duty. This includes retirees, veterans, National Guard, and reserves.
- Gordon Biersch Brewing Restaurant: Featuring four entrée options, on Veterans Day, Gordon Biersch Brewing Restaurant the brewery restaurant with seven locations, will be offering veterans a free complimentary entrée all day. Menu available for all active-duty service members and veterans with military ID or in uniform. One FREE entrée per person. Dine-in only.
- Hamburger Stand: On Wednesday, November 11, veterans and active-duty military can receive a free hamburger, fries and small Pepsi
- from one of 12 Hamburger Stand restaurants located in four states.
- Hopdoddy Burger Bar: On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Hopdoddy Burger Bar is offering a free Classic Burger (with or without cheese) to all veterans and active-duty service members.
- Little Caesars Pizza: On Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., all United States Armed Forces veterans and active military are invited to Little Caesars Pizza for a FREE lunch combo, featuring four slices of Little Caesars popular Detroit-style DEEPpizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product.
- Logan’s Roadhouse: On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Logan’s Roadhouse is inviting all active duty and retired U.S. military personnel to enjoy a free meal between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. from the American Roadhouse menu at participating Logan’s Roadhouse restaurants nationwide.
- Mission Barbecue: Proudly serving those who serve, Mission Barbecue offers all veterans a free sandwich on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
- Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom: Active-duty service members and veterans can enjoy a free individual pizza (specialty or 3-topping) on Nov. 11 at Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom locations as a thank you for their service. They will need to show an active military ID and the offer is for dine-in or in-store takeout only.
- Red Robin: As a Red Robin Royalty member, veterans and active military who are Red Robin Royalty members will have their free Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries offer, good from Nov. 12 through Nov. 30, automatically uploaded to their dashboard.
- Rock Bottom: Featuring four entrée options, on Veterans Day, Rock Bottom, the brewery restaurant with 19 locations, will be offering veterans a free complimentary entrée all day. Menu available for all active-duty service members and veterans with military ID or in uniform. One FREE entrée per person. Dine-in only.
- Sagebrush Steakhouse: On Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day, Sagebrush Steakhouse will be giving back by offering a FREE meal to veterans and active-duty military. One meal per veteran, dine-in only and the offer includes a non-alcoholic beverage.
- SAJJ Mediterranean: Recognizing the hard work of veterans and active-duty military, this Veterans Day, SAJJ Mediterranean will be offering one FREE entrée for veterans and active military who present an ID when ordering at SAJJ Mediterranean.
- Sheetz: All veterans and active-duty military personnel are invited to one of the 600+ Sheetz locations to enjoy a FREE 6-inch turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink on Wednesday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
- Shoney’s: On Veterans Day, honoring military men and women, Shoney’s is proud to offer a free All You Care To Eat, Freshly Prepared Breakfast Food Bar, Shoney’s until 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.
- The Rustic: Serving Texas with four locations, The Rustic is saluting veterans and active-ducty military by offering their Rustic Burger free.

- Eat’n Park: During the entire month of November, active and former U.S. military personnel and their families will receive a 10% discount on their entire check at Eat’n Park’s Restaurants.
