Donald Trump Returns To South Florida After Leaving Office

Donald Trump returned to South Florida Wednesday (January 20) before Joe Biden became the next president of the United States, according to NBC Miami.

The former president was greeted by supporters lining the roadways after he landed at Palm Beach International Airport around 11 a.m., reporters said. Trump announced he would be living at his Mar-A-Lago resort after he left the White House.

Before Trump left office, he pardoned over 70 people and commuted 70 sentences, including Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. He then delivered his final address as president at Andrews Air Force Base.

“We love you, and I can tell you that from the bottom of my heart,” Trump said to a small crowd of supporters. “This has been an incredible four years, we’ve accomplished so much together.” He complimented his family and praised his administration for the last four years, touching on the COVID-19 pandemic, military and economy.

“This is a great, great country. It is my greatest honor and privilege to have been your president,” Trump said. Here's more of the 45th president's remarks before he ended his tenure.
