Trump Administration Preparing Paperwork For Lil Wayne Pardon: Report

Lil Wayne may soon be cleared of all charges against him.

According to Bloomberg, "White House staff has assembled the paperwork to pardon" the 38-year-old rapper.

As previously reported, outgoing President Donald Trump is set to announce his clemency list on Tuesday (January 19). As noted by multiple outlets, Trump's pardon list, which is expected to consist of upwards of 100 people, could possibly include senior White House officials, Trump's family members, disgraced politicians, and possibly himself.

News of Wayne's alleged pardon comes almost two weeks after Bloomberg first reported that Trump was considering pardoning the "Something Different" rapper, who is facing up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a firearm while traveling on a private plane in December 2019, and Kodak Black, who is currently serving time in federal prison for falsifying paperwork to obtain a firearm.

Both rappers have publicly issued support of Trump. Back in October, Wayne tweeted his backing of 45's platinum plan and even posed for a photo with him ahead of Election Day.

As for Kodak, in November, he publicly pleaded with Trump to release him, promising to donate $1 million to charity if he was released.
