Beyonce Drops 80s-Inspired Infomercial For New Ivy Park x Adidas Collection

Queen Bey is back with more Ivy Park drip! (GET YOUR COINS READY!)

On Thursday (October 22), Beyoncé unveiled her second Ivy Park x Adidas collection, dropping a new visual for the collaboration — or “Drip 2,” as she dubbed it. The new collection features a neon and pastel color palette with colors ranging from "coral, mesa, yellow tint and dark green to green tint." Like her previous collection, it includes size-inclusive and gender-neutral tracksuits, bodysuits, workout 'fits, and footwear. This time around though, there are also blazers, belts, socks, hats, belt bags/fanny packs, windbreakers, and cropped sweatshirts.

The launch is supported by a campaign titled “This Is My Park.” For the campaign visual, which is a combination of an 80s-inspired infomercial and VHS workout tape, Mrs. Carter talks about looking inward to "find her park" while navigating her "new normal" courtesy of the global pandemic. "So this is the best way I can describe it: This year, it was the first time in my life I've been so still," she says as images and videos of her new collection are shown. "When you have nowhere to go, what do you do?"

The visual also features cute and fun quick cuts of Bey exercising in her Ivy Park drip and speaking in a tone commonly heard on workout tapes: "Keep you thick and smiling! Yeah, we're going to work those thighs so hard."

At another point, Bey is shown in a bathtub as her eldest daughter Blue Ivy appears. "I tried to make sure I got five minutes by myself in the bathtub every day. It was difficult and I still heard the 'mommies! mommies','" Bey says in the voiceover.

The legendary entertainer concludes the visual asking, "Where is your beast mode?" Leaving fans to answer the question as she shows off "her park."

For Drip 2, the sizes range from XXXS to 4X for the apparel collection. The footwear offering has also expanded with six new styles including an updated Ivy Park Ultra Boost, Nite Jogger and Super Sleek 72 silhouettes, as well as a new Ivy Park Forum sneaker in mid- and low-rise options.

The new collection will be available on the Adidas website on October 29 and in select stores on October 30. Prices range from $25 for accessories to $200 for outerwear.

Beyonce first teased the upcoming drop earlier this week on Instagram, sharing a cryptic photo of a poppy field, which she captioned “Drip 2 October 30.”
