Ozzy Osbourne and Iron Maiden co-headlined Ozzfest 2005, and Bruce Dickinson made some sarcastic comments about Ozzy. That led to the band getting pelted with eggs, ice cubes, and bottle caps while playing their set and the festival PA was cut off during Maiden’s biggest songs. After, Sharon Osbourne admitted she was behind it all, and she apparently hasn’t let the grudge go.
In a new interview with Consequence, Sharon said, “Bruce Dickinson is a f***ing pr*ck. Well, no, he’s not a pr*ck because a pr*ck’s nice. He’s a f***ing asshole.” What does Iron Maiden band leader and bassist Steve Harris think about it? He doesn’t; he’s announced an 11-date UK tour with his side band British Lion.
